2003 Bourget Auti Mo Drag Bike Description

2003 Bourget Auti Mo Street Legal Drag Bike.

What is an Auti Mo? Built by Bourgets Bike Works. The Auti Mo was built as tribute to Roger Bourget's daughter who tragically passed in 2002. It started out a project designed by Roger and Autumn out of her love for sport bikes and his love of drag racing. So what transpired is a street legal drag bike with a sport bike flair. Roger completed the project as a tribute to his daughter Autumn and this is how it received its name Auti Mo meaning Autumn's motorcycle. The first 9 were numbered special edition 45th anniversary Tribute bikes built for S&S. (See http://www.hotbikeweb.com/features/0307hb_tribute_bikes/index.html for more info ) Only 9 more were produced for customers. The first 9 were built for customers. This is the very 1st one built after the 9 S&S Bikes. The motor is a S&S 113 ci. Most 113's from Bourgets have a .520 cam and regular rocker arms, I have installed a .600 lift cam and Jims roller rockers in this bike. It has big horse power and torque. It is a fully polished motor and Trans. 18" front wheel with a very large 260 rear. Some of its special features are:
The patented oil in the frame design giving very low seat height, better cooling and significantly reduces vibration. It also runs Rogers patented jack shaft which makes the bike balanced with chain drive to handle the horse power. Primo 3 inch open belt with custom belt guard and custom cut wheels rotors and sprocket all with the Auti Mo logo. The frame is fit with a one piece body and a fuel cell and powder coated purple. It was painted by Deanos custom painting. This is a beautiful house of color candy purple that the camera does not show very well. The seat is custom leather with checkered board to match the paint. Digital Speedo and a fat tach pro cycle by Auto meter with shift light on the bars. The original MSRP was over $48,000. This is your chance to own a truly original and very special motorcycle for your collection or personal pleasure, to help cure that need for speed. The bike has been owned by 2 Bourget dealers in Florida, I purchased it last year. The only reason I am selling the bike is I have a chance to purchase a 145CI Auti Mo and am in the process of doing so...Wife says I can't keep them both...Bike has been ridden very little and the electric compression releases were sticking. I have replaced both of them at 1230 miles I have also done the following at that mileage 2 new electric compression releases - S&S .600 Lift Cam and springs - Jims Roller Rocker Arms - New DaVanci Super G Chrome Carburetor - Billett Velocity Stack with internal breather and screen - 260 Rear Tire (came with 250) - Pingel Electric Shifter w/ignition kill module for push button clutchless shifting, New Battery.
