1959 Harley Davidson Panhead Description
1959 Harley Davidson Panhead, 1200cc motor, Totally rebuilt frame up panhead motorcycle with 89 miles, new odometer put in at rebuild and original mileage is unknown, The Panhead has undergone a thorough rebuild since I have had it. I would give it a 8.5 to 9 due to the fact it is not all original.The front brakes are mechanical, the rears are hydraulic. The primary is belt, not chain driven. The original parts consist of:The frame (professionally straightened and gusseted ), engine (witch has only 89 miles since it was rebuilt), transmission, and oil tank. The front forks, wheels (black rims,stainless spokes,black hubs), head light, fork tin, dash, and wiring loom are from V-Twin.The fuel tanks are a little larger than the originals 4.5 gal. instead of the 3.5 gal., and made of the heavy gauge steel. All of the electric parts are new or rebuilt. It is still running on a 6 volt system. The paint looks great, along with a powder coated frame. This bike gets a lot of attention when its out on the road. The reason I am parting with it, is to catch up with another project that I would like complete.
